Ouarzazate Solar Power Station (OSPS), also called Noor Power Station (نور, for ) is a solar power complex and auxiliary diesel fuel system located in the region in , 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from town, in Ghessat rural council area. At 510 MW, it is the world's largest (CSP) plant. With an additional 72 MW In 2009, the country launched the Moroccan Solar Plan, aiming to generate 2,000 megawatts (MW) of solar power by 2020.
