In normal operation, the inverter is synchronised with the mains supply. As soon as the mains frequency goes outside the tolerance range of ±1 %, the inverter switches to the internal clock pulse. The return to normal operation is initiated by the control system. CAUTION! MAJOR ALARM IS NOT THE SAME AS MAJOR FAULT
How does a 125v DC inverter work?
The inverter is powered directly from a 125VDC battery source. There is no input breaker for the DC feeds to each module. Thus a hazardous DC voltage may be present at those inputs regardless of the state of the system or the presence/absence of the back-up AC power source.
